Breaking Braydon  written by MK Harkins makes an absolutely interesting read that kept me hooked to the book throughout. Though the subject is a time tested one, his approach to the subject keeps us guessing and provides the required push to keep it reading till the end. Book Review : Enduring by Michelle Leigh – Sequel to Surviving Novel Reviewed Earlier

Enduring by Michelle Leigh is a sequel to Surviving novel we reviewed earlier.

Surviving ended with a cliffhanger, the last scene being Trace Alexander, Emma’s boyfriend alias her boss confessing his feelings for her in front of an unconscious Emma, shot in the stomach by her father as a punishment for leaving him.

This book is all about Trace’s efforts to save the woman he loves from the clutches of her father who was still at large having escaped after shooting her. It was interesting to see the ways Trace employs to keep her secure right from keeping her in his high security condo to hiring a personal bodyguard to protect her.

Surviving by Michelle Leigh is a romantic novel with few thriller elements and a generous helping of sacrifice, betrayal, friendship and more. The story begins with the childhood of Emma and her twin brother Danny and the hardships they underwent due to the earlier demise of their mother and the miserable time they have with their father.

Six years later, Emma joins as a temporary assistant in one of the most prestigious companies in the country, Alexander Marketing Corporation. She reports to the Head of the Department of Sales, Jack Stewart. This sets the story rolling and her life undergoes a change to begin a roller coaster ride.

Romance  by Joanie Chevalier mainly hovers around the theme of blackmail through a different approach. 4 Women, 4 different characteristics weave the story into an absorbing thriller. Julianna, after getting over a bitter divorce joins a book club online to get over her emotional turmoil. She is elated when she meets a girl, Bess and the two hit off instantly. Julianna also starts dating Aaron, a guy who saw her profile in a dating site.

 All things go well till the host of the book club, Traci persuades all the members to film their dates so the others could act as critics.

I enjoyed Satellite: Satellite trilogy very much. This book, Part 1, is the story of a dead man, Grant Bradley who is still not able to digest the fact that he is in a place called Progression aka After death world, far away from his fiancée Tatum Jacoby. He is perplexed to learn that he is chosen before his birth by the scheduler to become a Satellite, whose job is to take care of a person living on earth and save them from the wrath of their own decisions.
