Adrenaline Rush : WildTribe Ranch Adventure Park Opens in ECR, Chennai

Chennai has a new fun element inaugurated on 12th March 2016. So get ready for the adrenaline rush. If you are the kind travelling on the ECR, you could not have missed the WildTribe Ranch next to Crocodile bank and Jade resorts. It is not a new kid in the block for Chennai but just for ECR since the adventure park has just moved from Ponneri to ECR after successful 9 years there. WildTribe called us to have the first feel (isn’t it thrilling?) through Chennai Bloggers Club (http://chennaibloggers.in). Here is our experience at the venue. For those not the real adventurous or the little fuzzy ones, here is a sigh of relief. WildTribe focuses on two main things – Safety and Hygiene. We had it proved when we were refused to try few of the adventures since safety check was not completed yet. Safety boards and precautions are there in red and yellow everywhere and the operators are clear on the permissible age and weight giving us the confidence we need to get onto the adventurous trail.

Cricket Watchers League, Are you in it?

position

Cricket, the word that unites Indians irrespective of religion, caste, and creed is more a cult than a sport. My association with Cricket goes beyond generations and the seed of Cricket was embedded right in when I was small where I used to watch my uncles walking with transistors so tightly held close to the ears and it resembled people walking with mobiles nowadays, the only difference is they were good at the art of listening while here it is a two way conversation (so it should be!). In those days, a transistor in a family was a luxury and the one who gets at it first in the morning gets to hold it through the day and it was fun seeing others trying to put their ears on it and few others walking behind waiting for a chance to grab it in case it is put down, and it never happens because it is the most prized possession.

Food Corner: Cycles Stage a Come Back in Chennai

Ciclo-Cafe-6

Chennai, of late is experiencing a boom in cycle sales. It is surprising as we are seeing a dip in the cost of petrol and in an ideal situation, it must be more of bikes and cars. Looking at the other side of it, seeing the traffic of Chennai, probably a cyclist finds it easy going to reach short destinations in lesser time. For the health and fitness, conscious people, it serves two purpose, travelling and also exercising without sparing time in the daily rigorous schedule. Chennai Focus saw many varieties of cycles in the cycle showrooms in Chennai, showing off their best with larger space and range.

Catching on the rage of themed restaurants coming up in the city,  India’s first cycling cafe, Ciclo opens in Chennai. This sounds to be a good marketing technique which will drive business think tank to look at various ways of reaching the customers.
